Dave Mullikin – Principal
Dave is an impactful leader, executive coach, and entrepreneur and has more than 40 years of Fortune 500 business and financial management experience bringing sophisticated business savvy and a mentoring style of coaching C-suite and senior executives in leadership consulting and executive outplacement. Dave has held a variety of executive positions within the healthcare, finance, and consumer goods and services industries. Dave is a principal of the Institute for Social and Emotional Intelligence which provides teaching and global certification in the fields of social and emotional intelligence (EQ) training and coaching. Previously, Dave owned and operated CSG Partners, a highly successful and growing consulting business serving Kansas City and the Midwest. Under Dave’s leadership, business revenue grew ten-times in under 3-years. He then sold the practice Lee Hecht Harrison becoming the SVP and Managing Director for ten offices across ten states. Earlier in Dave’s career, he joined the General Electric Management Development Program. During his fifteen years with GE, Dave held progressively-more responsible positions in finance, operations, customer service, and management. Additionally, he graduated from GE’s Financial Management Program, traveled 3-years on the GE Corporate Audit Staff, and participated in several executive-level training programs at GE’s Crotonville campus.
Amy Sargent – Executive Director
Amy has managed operations, marketing, and client services for various organizations in the Denver area. She currently serves as Executive Director of the Institute for Social and Emotional Intelligence (ISEI). Her background in teaching and ministry has given her a unique ability to authentically connect with others while providing the organizational and structural support vital to a company’s success. Amy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Ambassador University in Pasadena, California, then completed her Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Aesthetic Arts at the University of Denver. She has completed the ISEI’s Coach Certification Course as well as ISEI coaching certification in Positive Psychology, Leader as Coach, and the Resilient Leader courses. Amy is passionate about adventure travel, camping, gardening, music, and writing personal narrative.
Grant Herbert – Master Trainer
Grant Herbert is a Master Coach Trainer for the Institute for Social and Emotional Intelligence in Asia Pacific and the founder of People Builders. Deborah Westcott – Executive Coach
Deborah Westcott is the Founder and CEO of coachEQ, an emotional intelligence coaching, training, and assessment organization. She has a coaching certificate as a Professional Certified Coach (P.C.C.) from the International Coaching Federation, as well as a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work. She is certified in two social and emotional intelligence assessments. Deb has worked as a coach, consultant, speaker (both locally and nationally), educator, and psychotherapist for more than 30 years. In addition to her coaching and consulting work, she has taught at Colorado State University and has served on many Colorado non-profit boards and commissions. Some of Deb’s clients include IBM, Hewlett-Packard, national health organizations such as Trinity Health and Telecare Corp., and various women’s professional networks around the country. Virg Setzer – Executive Coach
Virg Setzer has a Master of Science degree in Organizational Performance and a Batchelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He is a certified executive coach, a certified Social and Emotional Intelligence Coach and a coach certification facilitator with the Institute for Social and Emotional Intelligence. He is certified as a Human Capital Strategist and serves on the adjunct faculty at the University of Colorado Denver Business School where he teaches undergraduate and graduate level Management. Virg is the founder and president of Performance Point Solutions where he provides executive coaching and organizational consulting to a broad range of businesses. He has 35+ years in business with four major companies where he held positions in operations management, organizational development, and human resources. He serves as chair of the Colorado Leadership Board of the American Diabetes Association and as the faculty advisor to the UCD Student SHRM Chapter. He served in the USAF and is a Vietnam Veteran.
